The Wines
For contemplation,
for celebration, for pleasure
Our minimal-intervention winemaking is guided by our geologically complex site and relatively cool microclimate. Spring Mountain is unusual in its elevation, aspect, and diversity of rare volcanic soil types, and our two Bordeaux-style reds are, likewise, distinct yet pure expressions of our terroir.
Dense, powerful, and remarkably complex, Fe is built for two or more decades of cellar age, its structure evident in the attack and the finish. It is a monolithic wine that is the epitome of luxurious, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon. The perfect wine to bridge the gap between Bordeaux aficionados and Napa lovers.
26, the atomic number of iron, is the name we have given our proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. 26 exhibits all the hallmark seriousness of an Aaron Pott fusion: fruit that is present but does not overwhelm, an impressive structure built of equal parts acid and tannin, and a savory mineral undertone. Hauntingly beautiful and finely wrought, 26 displays power without sacrificing finesse.
